Terms of Service

By accessing or using LeagueOptix (“the Service”) at leagueoptix.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

LeagueOptix is an online tournament scheduling platform. You can use the Service to generate round robin schedules, elimination brackets, and league schedules. Generating and previewing schedules is free. Full access (export, share, and permanent storage) requires a one-time unlock payment.

2. Accounts

You may use the Service as a guest (no account required) or by creating a registered account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Payments & Refunds

Unlocking a schedule costs $14.99 per event. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in USD. Once an event is unlocked and the schedule is accessible, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from accessing an unlocked schedule, contact us at support@leagueoptix.com within 7 days for a resolution.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-download content from the Service.
• Use automated scripts to create guest accounts in bulk.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

The schedules and exports you generate are yours to use for your events. LeagueOptix retains ownership of the platform, its code, and its design. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and serve your schedule data for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated schedules will meet every constraint in all cases. The AI constraint parser is a best-effort tool.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeagueOptix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
